My Voice – Developing Generational Empathy To Deal With Adolescents

Parenting is no easy feat whatever the age of kids may be. And today’s generation gap is making things even harder. It’s causing parental estrangement, mental sickness, and in extreme cases, loss of life.

Young adults lock themselves behind doors in homes. Teenagers battle emotional rejections. Children suffer angst too early in life. Heavily invested parents stand by, confused, scared, and wildly improvising.

It is time to bring this inter-generational disconnect out of the echo chambers where it currently rages.

Invites you on Wednesday 23rd December, 5.10PM – 6.00PM SGT & HKT / 2:40PM-3:30PM (IST) via Zoom to

“MY VOICE”- DEVELOPING GENERATIONAL EMPATHY TO DEAL WITH ADOLESCENTS

In this week’s session join Neerja Singh, as she talks about:

  • The signs of a visceral generational disconnect
  • The revised roles that parents will have to learn to play

As well as answer all our questions on how to become a more connected parent.

*A Zoom link will be shared with the registered attendees via email prior to the event.  There is no charge to attend this and the purpose is to simply share opinions and views with each other.

What is “MY VOICE”

We all have an opinion or a view or simply a thought about things that happen around us or to us. Sometimes we think about it, at times we speak about it, and perhaps even take action but most times we do nothing. And that’s ok. But what if we had a safe space for minds to meet, where we could talk about things that matter to us, listen to each other, learn from our own self?

My Voice is a platform where we can do all of this and more, through a series of online discussions with like-minded women. Where we can agree, disagree, or agree to disagree but without any judgement. And together we shall embark on a new journey, each week with an interesting & thought-provoking topic that touches us!
