My Voice – Session 2

We all have an opinion or a view or simply a thought about things that happen around us or to us. Sometimes we think about it, at times we speak about it, and perhaps even take action but most times we do nothing. And that’s ok.

But what if we had a safe space for minds to meet, where we could all talk about things that matter to us, listen to each other, learn from our own self?Invites you every Wednesday 6 PM-7 PM on Zoom to

“MY VOICE”

A platform where we can do all of this and more, through a series of online discussions with like-minded women. Where we can agree, disagree, or agree to disagree but without any judgement. And together we shall embark on a new journey, each week with an interesting & thought-provoking topic that touches us!

About the Hosts:

Shikha Sarkar, was raised in India and has called Singapore her home for last 12 years. She is a vibrant, confident and self-assured firebrand who know what it takes to make things work. But it is her attitude of staying strong in the most difficult situations that wins her the most accolades, like walking 75 km on frozen lake or facing a deadly tiger while conducting a wildlife tour. With more than 16 years of experience in international sales & marketing, strong entrepreneurial skills, backed by an MBA her biggest strength is using a consultative approach for understanding needs and formulating effective solutions. As the Ambassador of InterNations, a global expat network, Shikha manages a community of over 60,000 expats from 200 different countries living in Singapore; curating events and ensuring they get appropriate support at various levels. Shikha is a firm believer in supporting women and is always willing to help those in need. At home she loves cuddling up with her toy poodle to alleviate the stress of dealing with a teenager!

Neera Gupta, was raised in Abu Dhabi and has lived in many countries including Australia, India, Hong Kong, Taiwan China, Japan, and of course Singapore. She founded Kit Kat Events & Marketing in 2014 and has more than 13 years of experience in the Events industry. She‘s a Professional Emcee. She’s been featured on many talk shows but what she enjoys most is to host TV shows, despite the takes and retakes. Neera is a champion for Women Empowerment and has organized many women-centric events including “Women of Inspiration Awards” to recognize the exceptional achievements of women in various fields. She believes in pushing boundaries and seeing things in different ways. In 2010, she authored the best seller novel, Careful what you wish for. She runs a busy household with two young kids and two dogs but always finds time for her friends & her philanthropy work. And a lesser-known fact about her is that she is also a qualified dentist.
