She grew up in Sydney, Australia, and studied a Bachelor of Business Communication at the Queensland University of Technology.Anna has worked for The University of Melbourne and La Trobe University, proofreading and editing high-level research and business agreements, student handbooks, web pages, and many other documents. She also worked at Oxford University Press as a book editor. For more than 35 years, Anna has edited for many corporate clients, and governments as a freelance editor.In March 2013, Anna suffered a stroke that changed the way that she reads.
